CHENNAI – PONDICHERRY

Morning pick-up from advised location/Airport in Chennai & drive to Pondicherry. On arrival check into the hotel. After fresh-n-up time for relaxation. After lunch proceed for half day city tour of Pondicherry. Visit Aurobindo Ashram, the city of dawn, which is 10kms north of Pondicherry. This ashram promotes Aurobindo’s ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, to unite the spirit and matter, also visit Auroville – a unique experiment in international living and in creating a new environment where men and women of all nationalities live together in harmony. Return to the hotel for overnight stay..

 Day 2

PONDICHERRY Morning at leisure

After breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. Visit heritage buildings and monuments which are present around the Promenade Beach, such as the Children’s Park & Dupleix Statue, Gandhi statue, Nehru Statue, Le Café, French War Memorial, 19th Century Lighthouse, Bharathi Park, Governors Palace, French War Memorial, Romain Rolland Library, Legislative Assembly, Pondicherry Museum and the French Institute of Pondicherry at Saint-Louis Street. Also visit Sri Manakula Vinayagar temple a very famous Hindu temple, which houses Lord Ganesha, Thirukameswar Temple, Pyramid Nataraja Temple & Puducherry Botanical Gardens. Evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

PONDICHERRY – CHENNAI

Morning at leisure. After breakfast free time for relaxation. Afternoon drive back to Chennai. On arrival in Chennai transfer to advised location or Airport.
